Gerry is an absolute gem, if you have any interest in a walking tour this is your best choice, you will not be disapppinted. Gerry is professional, attentive and gives one on one information to educate you on everything, you will not go hungry or thirsty. The food and drinks flow all day. This will be the highlight of our trip and we go home understanding so much more about the culture here. We had such a great day with Gerry and recommend this tour so much.Posted on Frank LynnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So much fun. Very insightful on the history of the areas we visited and the unique development of Singapore over the years. Gerry is engaging, informative, on-time, and interesting. And then the food! Everything was so good. Everything. Bring an appetite. Do not eat breakfast. Do not plan on dinner. Just terrific. Highly recommend.Posted on Collie YakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An absolute cracker of a tour around Singapore! We ate our way through Chinatown, Little India and the Arab Quarter, mixing incredible food, cold beers, public transport adventures and just the right amount of history to feel cultured. Fun, fast-paced, delicious and brilliantly guided — come hungry and leave very, very happy. Would 100% do it again.Posted on Rachel ColemanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 10/10 recommend this tour! Gerry is an amazing guide and the mix of food, neighborhoods and learning is an excellent experience!Posted on OliverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was honestly one of the best food tours I ever did. We covered Chinese, Indian and Arab quarters and saw a lot in a relatively short time, but it never felt rushed. What I really liked is that it was not only about eating. We got a lot of background information about Singapore, the culture, the history and why things are the way they are. That made a big difference for me. Gerry was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, well organised and easy to talk to. He explains things clearly and you can feel that he really cares about what he is doing. It did not feel like a standard tourist tour, more like being shown around by someone who really knows the city. If you want more than just food and actually want to understand the city, this tour is a great choice. I would definitely recommend it.Posted on Benny STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a truly wonderful food and culture tour and one of the highlights of my time in Singapore. We explored Little India, Chinatown, and the Arab Quarter, learning so much about Singapore’s fascinating and complex history and its multicultural identity. Our guide was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating, making the experience both engaging and relaxed. It was highly interactive and featured some of the best food I’ve tried in Singapore. A one-of-a-kind tour that was both educational and genuinely fun — I can’t recommend it enough.Posted on Anthony MorrisseyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Leaving a review here a month or so after travelling to Singapore and having the joy to experience a walking and thankfully, eating (along with a few cold Tiger beers and Guinness) tour in Singapore. Firstly the small group was amazing and it was a fantastic mix of people. Secondly the locations visited were incredibly vibrant and cultural and I loved the feeling of being in these places. Thirdly, the food... Amazing. I am genuinely still thinking about the soup dumplings that we had at the Chinatown Complex. Life changing haha! Finally, and I would say most importantly, the host, Gerry. What an absolute legend. He brought the vibes to the whole day and spoke so passionately about Singapore and the local vendors throughout the day while being genuinely engaged with all of the people on the tour. I think as an addition, just learning to navigate the city with Gerry by taking the MRT and some buses to different locations really helps, especially when it is your first time in the city. This was our first morning so to get that exposure to navigating the city on public transport really helped give us confidence for the rest of our trip. I've already recommended to friends, family, colleagues and anyone who'll listen that if they go to Singapore that they should go on this amazing tour.Posted on Meagan BarryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour is worth every penny! We are so glad we joined this tour. We learnt so much about Singapore and tasted great food. And there was so much food ( and beer ;) ) Gerry is one of the best tour guides I have ever done a tour with. It’s a great way to see the 3 neighborhoods. Honestly, don’t miss this tour if you choose one to do - its easy enough to see all the other main sites on your own. But to have someone explain a lot of the food and culture really helps make the whole trip even better. Thank you for taking good care of us Gerry !Posted on J BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic time going through Singapore with Jerry. Cant recommend it enough - one of the highlights of the trip. He's put a lot of thought into how to make it work for everyone, some good history, unreal food, and he’s and all around good dude that you would want to sit down and have a beer with.Posted on Andrea BryanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Book this one! Gerry took us to three different neighborhoods to experience the flavors, but also shared a lot of the history. It's a very thorough tour that is sure to take you through the highlights of the real Singapore local food scene.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. I had an amazing experience on this tour with Gerry! He is everything you’d want in a guide—knowledgeable, funny, laid back, and incredibly welcoming. From the start, communication was excellent (I booked last minute and he reached out right away via text and WhatsApp). He came fully prepared with MRT/bus cards, sanitizer, wipes, napkins, and even arranged pickup and drop-off. Drinks, including alcohol, were also included!
What really stood out was Gerry’s passion and generosity. He donated leftovers, knew locals everywhere we went, and made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend rather than just a guide. We enjoyed a true feast in Chinatown and Little India, sampling dishes I never would have known to order on my own. At the food centers, Gerry handled the details so we could taste a wide range of flavors without the stress of choosing from so many options.
Along the way we visited neighborhoods, stepped inside a Buddhist temple, passed by a mosque while learning about its history, and made a few surprise stops I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. He always checked in to make sure we were comfortable, walked at our pace, and found shady or air-conditioned spots when possible. There is a moderate amount of walking, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for the heat, but it never felt rushed or exhausting.
Beyond the food, Gerry shared a wealth of insight into Singaporean history, culture, and everyday life. We ended the day with a refreshing gelato paired with espresso—a perfect finish to an already memorable experience.
This tour was unforgettable. If you’re on the fence, just book it—you won’t regret it. Thank you, Gerry—keep being you!

Such a fun food tour around Singapore! Gerry is an enthusiastic and welcoming guide. He even picks you up at your hotel and gets you home at the end of the tour. You will get to ride on the public transit as well as experience the Chinese Hawker Center, eat at an Indian restaurant, and end the day at an ice cream spot near the mosque. Gerry will teach you a little bit about Singapore’s history throughout as well. My favorite food was at the Chinatown Hawker Center! It was so nice having Gerry order us a ton of things and then explain them all to us while we ate so we didn’t have to go to each food stall ourselves. Thanks again Gerry!

🌟 **The Best Food Tour We’ve Ever Done – Singapore Street Food at Its Finest!** 🌟
We’ve done food tours across the globe—from Europe to Southeast Asia—but this one with Gerry in Singapore truly stands out as the most memorable and meaningful. What made it exceptional wasn’t just the food (though that was phenomenal), but the heart and soul behind it.
🍽️ **Michelin-Star Magic in a Hawker Centre**
We tasted dishes from several Michelin-rated stalls, all tucked inside bustling food courts. Each bite was a masterclass in flavor—authentic, bold, and unforgettable.
⏳ **A Tour That Went Above and Beyond**
The tour was scheduled for 4 hours, but Gerry generously extended it to 7 without rushing us. His passion for food and storytelling was infectious, and he made sure we soaked in every moment.
💖 **A Guide with a Heart of Gold**
What truly moved us was Gerry’s generosity. Not only did he share his deep knowledge and love for Singaporean cuisine, but he also donated leftover food to those in need. That act of kindness speaks volumes about the kind of person he is.
🍜 **Come Hungry, Leave Inspired**
There was *so much* food—come with an empty stomach and an open heart. This tour isn’t just about eating; it’s about connecting with culture, community, and compassion.
If you’re in Singapore and love food, this tour is a must. It’s not just a culinary journey—it’s a soulful one.

I would give this tour six stars if I could. Learning about the culture of the various ethnicities in Singapore through visiting their traditional places and food venues is a genius idea. Gerry makes you experience the life of a regular citizen, by walking the streets, taking the bus and the metro. He loves his fellow citizens and transmits very effectively his intimate relation with the city. He is thoughtful and articulate, so, if you are curious, have the chance to understand the radical experiment in economic transformation and social engineering that is Singapore. If you have one day in the city, do not miss it.

Our tour with Gerry was absolutely one of the best food and/or city tours I have ever taken. I’ve taken some awesome tours all around the world and Gerry has got to be about the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He focuses first and foremost on his clients having a great time and he has honed his tour overtime to really deliver one great experience after another. Beyond sharing and teaching us a lot about the varied food cultures in Singapore, he also spends time sharing so much interesting information about the history and details of so many aspects of Singapore‘s culture. One of the things that really came across throughout the day we spent with Gerry was his passion for the local people, community and varies cultures in Singapore. His tour supports many local businesses and in teaching his clients about the history of the city and how it developed into what it is today really helps to provide context for seeing and enjoying the city the way it is today.
I cannot recommend Gerry’s tour enough. Even if you literally have only one day in Singapore to experience the city, I think it would be a fantastic tour to take to learn so much about so many different aspects of the food, culture and the history of Singapore.

An unforgettable food and culture experience in Singapore!
We had an amazing time on this guided food and culture tour through Singapore. It was the perfect way to learn about the city’s diverse cultural heritage — from Chinese to Malay to Indian influences — and how they all come together in daily life and cuisine.
The food was absolutely exceptional, and we got to try a wide variety of local dishes that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Our guide Gerry was outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our individual interests and needs.
He made the experience truly personal and memorable. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore — and if you can, ask for Gerry!
